The Cursillo Movement
Cursillo is a worldwide Christian movement that began in Spain in the 1940s under the leadership of Eduardo Bonnín. Rooted in prayer, fellowship, and action, Cursillo helps people deepen their relationship with Christ and share their faith with others. Today, it continues to inspire men and women across the globe—including right here in our diocese.
Arise Weekends
Arise Weekends are short retreats inspired by the Cursillo method. They offer a welcoming space to step away from daily life, grow closer to Christ, and discover the joy of Christian community. Through prayer, talks, and fellowship, participants gain tools and encouragement to live out their faith with renewed strength.
Ultreya Gatherings
Ultreya is a joyful reunion for those who have attended a Cursillo. These gatherings strengthen the Cursillo spirit, offering encouragement, friendship, and the chance to share life experiences through Prayer, Study, and Action. Ultreya is a reminder to keep moving forward in faith and to bring Christ into every part of life.
